Welcome to The Barn at Ivy Oaks, a boutique wedding venue on a private estate nestled among 150 year old oak trees, amidst the lush farmlands of Northern Alabama. Located in New Market, thirty minutes from Huntsville, and 4 miles from the Tennessee border, this 1930’s estate features a beautiful rustic event barn, grounds that offer multiple ceremony locations and a variety of wedding packages. The Barn at Ivy Oaks offers customizable options to meet the wishes of each couple. We can accommodate up to 150 guests inside the barn, host rehearsal dinners, and offer several celebration packages whether it be for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or corporate functions. In May of 2022, after planning and having our very own rustically elegant barn wedding, my husband and I knew that making this a reality for other couples was something we’d love to do! We began our search for the perfect venue, and it was love at first sight when we happened upon this stunning estate. With property dating back to 1904, and a historic home built in 1930, the towering old oak trees covered in ivy were the inspiration for The Barn at Ivy Oaks. Our family looks forward to providing couples with a bespoke experience and sharing a boutique venue that will make the most beautiful backdrop for one of the most memorable days of your life! Packages below outline the customizable options for your special day.
This one-day rental package includes exclusive use of The Barn at Ivy Oaks from 10am-10pm on a Monday-Thursday (additional holiday rates apply). Ideal for those preferring their wedding on a week day.
This one day rental package includes exclusive use of The Barn at Ivy Oaks on your selected weekend date of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. This package is ideal for those holding an off-site rehearsal dinner. A one hour rehearsal time can be scheduled the Wednesday or Thursday evening prior to the wedding, schedule permitting.
The weekend experience includes exclusive use of The Barn at Ivy Oaks from Friday 2pm-8pm and Saturday 9am-11pm. (Optional Sunday 8am-10am additional $250 fee). An ideal package for those wanting extra time to decorate or wanting to host all events in one place.

While we are not currently an all inclusive wedding venue, we have a list of trusted vendors and professionals to make your day go smoothly and seamlessly. We believe flexibility creates better weddings. Couples are also free to choose vendors they trust, provided they meet basic venue requirements. For smaller events, we do provide table settings and florals for an extra charge of $1500.

Booking your date is simple. Once availability is confirmed, a signed contract and a 50% deposit are required to reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance is due prior to your event.

Yes. The Barn at Ivy Oaks offers flexible indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, featuring three distinct and enchanting outdoor sites — each with its own charm and atmosphere — giving you the freedom to choose the perfect setting to begin your wedding-day story.

Venue access times are clearly outlined in your contract and are designed to allow ample time for setup, celebration, and cleanup without feeling rushed. Personal décor is encouraged. We ask that all décor be installed and removed without causing damage to the venue.

A day-of coordinator is required to help your celebration unfold seamlessly. With someone thoughtfully guiding the timeline and coordinating vendors, you’re free to stay present, soak in every beautiful moment, and simply enjoy the magic of your wedding day.

Our flexible indoor spaces offer a beautiful backup option, ensuring your celebration continues seamlessly — so you can relax knowing everything is covered, rain or shine. A tent from one of our preferred vendors is also a lovely option, giving you even more freedom to create the day you’ve been dreaming of.

Side bar area with food truck bay and rehearsal dinner space
Use of catering/ prep kitchen that includes refrigerator and ice machine
Guest tables, chairs, benches, heaters, barrels, and usage of venue decorations as needed.
